Sea of Gratitude.

Every Saturday I have the pleasure of running in a Portland urban neighborhood called Overlook while my girls are at Irish dancing lessons. It’s a a lovely departure from the cow field/sidewalk-less land where we live in the country. The seasons are the best part of enjoying this area of the city. Fall, in particular, is glorious with all of its color and leaf-covered streets. I run with my camera tucked in my pocket.

Last week I had thoughts of gratitude running through my head…something like this….

It feels as though I dwell in a constant state of gratitude. The blessings run deep and wide….In my chest this heart spills over with love and warmth for what swirls around me during my days, and excitement and anticipation for what is to come in the days ahead.
Blessings fill up a swimming pool today…and I’m bobbing up and down happily in the deep end.

I’m thankful to you, my sweet lovelies, who come to this place…thank you for reading my words and being in my life.
May your Thanksgiving Day be filled with lots of laughter and glass clinking~
