Gen-U-ine MPG women
Creativity circle fun…some women with incredible vision and personal (vintage) style gathered around my table recently. Natalie of Vintage Sparrow brought her famous lemon cake and what would a creativity circle be without some “Mad Housewife” chardonnay?

Isabelle from Maison Douce was busy making a uber-fun creation for a soldered box. She is oh-so-clever…and adorable. She drove an hour and brought WARM walnut bread. A gem of a person who I see everywhere at all of our barn sale fun out here in the NW.

Beth, one half of Gossamer Designs (you might remember the images we did for them months back…one of my most favorite EVER) is so lovely. She and Vicky (the other half) brought the most incredible box of vintage treats for me…including slipdresses and pretty shirts…I love vintage presents!
They’re the best.
She is a mysterious, dark beauty isn’t she?!

Vicky, our bride-to-be, was working on a little ring box with some vintage music. She and Beth are two of the most creative women I know—if you went to Farm Chicks last year, you probably remember seeing their “Cowgirl Bohemian Chic” wares…I found them in “Where Women Create” and just rang them up…luckily, they needed new pics for their site…
… and an artistically-charged friendship was born.
I just love these women.

Susan is another “creative” who owned Fancy’s in Camas awhile back. Her house has been in numerous magazines for how to do the shabby chic/vintage home thing.
She’s got so much style.
She’s making these super cute dog jackets that my studio will be photographing soon. I think the world of her and was so glad that she could make it.

Susan brought this Gossamer dress she bought years ago for me to try on.
Okay, friends…I think I found my 40th B-day party (PH doesn’t know he’s throwing this for me yet) dress! With the boots, of course
These ladies are so talented in their dress design.

A shout-out to Seleta (hers was the very first blog I ever read and was forever inspired) for posting my Boxes of Joy on her blog.
She might just be the most stylish person on the planet…
…at least in Blogland, anyway.
Just love her!
Check out her planet.
I hope your week is starting out wonderfully…it was so gloriously sunny here today.
I’m reborn!

gorgeous dress, and i love your hair like that! curls are so lovely. it looks like you had a fantastic evening–that lemon cake alone looks like it could make an entire party. i’ve never been sure about mad housewife, though. the bottle is so pretty, she always ropes me in, but then i feel a little disappointed at bottle’s end.
how wonderful afternoons like this look!

You Hot Tamale (no idea how to spell it… i took french). Fabulous dress…only problem is that your hubby may want to keep that party private if you choose to wear that so think twice! Your partay looked sooo fun – what a great group of ladies. (sigh to be so far away). I saw the Seleta blog on you – so fun!! Check out her recent blog on vday – she’s drinking our champagne!!!! Well cheers to you NW gals…. can we find a creative class in between for our two worlds to merge?! Hey I was sharing your crown craft blog w/ my friend Sue (a fabulously creative friend I met through Jen) and she follows the blog of your friend whose house you were at! Small world!! ciao bella! xo
