“An Evening in the Country” & a new home for “Ignite”

I’ve blogged about this amazing charity before. I am in love with what the Ameena Project is doing in Kenya with these kids.

It’s incredible.

Would you believe that 70 kids line up at the door to the school kitchen Monday mornings because many of them haven’t eaten a full meal since Friday?

As a mom, it breaks my heart…as a human being it tugs at me to do something.

SO...come one, come all to our event on the MPG property on August 11th from 6-9 pm for one huge event with all proceeds going to Ameena (we’ve got a 2012 American Idol finalist performing!) ~

Please email me if you’d like to attend. I’ll add you to the official e-vite list: lara@larablairimages.com

I wanted to introduce the brand new home of IGNITE THE HEART.

Elida Field and I will both be posting over there about faith and creativity.

Our e-course will be available in the fall.

We had an amazing professional videographer shoot it for us and we can’t wait to send it on up!

We also will be offering a bimonthly live class in the fall alternating between Elida’s and my studios called the Trinity: Art, Photography and Faith” (this is not your grandmother’s bible study!)

Come check out this week’s post about releasing a lie in our lives and owning the truth…we’re passionate about lifting women to higher places and inspiring huge, heaping, wonderful amounts of creativity to live your dreams.

I’m off to a writing class with my dad today—exciting to share this passion with him.

Happy weekend, lovelies!
