Barn House 2012

Our boys rocked it again.

Such theater these boys bring us mere mortals! From start to finish, it was a perfect day. Joe is King of Vintage in his fab display. Artiste’, for sure.

My pal Kimberly Taylor came down to play and visit booths to visit the awesomeness first-hand. We like heading over when everyone is setting up and are a little more relaxed. ‘Makes for good shots! Jermonne is so dang photogenic…love. that. barn. boy.

The uber-vendors!

So many booths…I couldn’t get to ’em all, but these folks really brought it on show day.

From top…(left to right): Worthy Goods, Carney Couture, Calamity Jane’s Antiques, Duchess, Today’s Country Farm and Frills, Camas Antiques, Seabold Vintage Market, Aunti Joy, Sparrow, A Thing for Roses, Cottage Vintage Home, Faded Charm, House of Harvest, Plantanitis, Junk Girls, Kindred Roses.

If I could have just one day a week with Laurie and Debbie, my life would be changed. They inspire and fill me with such good things. Love you, hippie chics.

Kim, uber-sister-friend, came down for a weekend visit with her boy…her four-legged boy, not to be confused with her four two-legged boys.

Louis is so incredibly handsome and mellow. After meeting him, you’d be sold on the breed.

We jaunted to Northwest 23rd street because Kim had never seen it—she loved it as much as I do. Let me tell you, if you’re ever in the mood to make new friends, saunter down a Portland city street with an adorable French Bulldog. Louis was a hit!

Kim is one of the most positive people I know. Graceful..lovely…full of style…and posesses an outlook that is sunnier than sunny. I always feel lifted up when we spend time together. The only bummer is that our visits are way too far apart. I’m brewing a retreat-get-away-let’s-get-lofty-with-our-goals for some key women in my life. The trick is they all live in different states! We need to put our heads together…right Jeanne? Missed you this weekend.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend, wherever you were, lovelies. Barn House friends–so cool to have this in our neck of the woods, isn’t it?!

p.s. “Four Myths of Surburban American Life” returns Friday…It’s not about the stuff.
