Fluffing the nest…

Fab, fun finds for Chez Blair…some just procured..some just moved around…

Shabby table from Joe at Barnhouse with new Louis chairs~

My windmill from Monticello Antiques–woohoo!!!—funny story about this one. I willed it to myself…seriously..just weeks after stating to the world that I would like a windmill in my living room (or kitchen), I walked into Monticello and the first thing in my path was…voila~

It’s a peculiar thing, but this little guy makes me smile every time I look at it.

The fab new chairs from my friend Chateau Lauren in Camas (now moving to Versailles in Portland)…

The horse image I took at the photo session at Rach’s barn. She’s got a 30×40 of the same image in her room….I liked it so much I printed and framed it for downstairs. I’m collecting B’s and Ironstone…anyone have any for sale, let me know! ;)

PH calls this the stairway to heaven…not a fave of his, but I enjoy having it in the kitchen. Pam from my fave coffee shop Piccolo Paradiso gave it to me.

The kids call this the “Creaky Chair” (from lovely Cindy, our favorite TARTE) with the B that I decorated with fabric scraps. ‘Love the fact that my family names all of the interesting things I bring home.

Portraits from the barn shoot...both lovelies in their gear. Heart rock collection below it. One of the first things I’d grab in a fire.

Debbie and Laurie, my Worthy Goods gals, found these stools and I snatched them up. Again, a bit of chiding from the troops, but I do like them very much.

I can picture a cowboy sitting on these with some spurs…can’t you see it?

I guess I like household things that have a story. I like making up one in my head when I find things gems. Yes, a bit tattered at times, but to me it brings charm.

Thought we’d start off our week with some lovely music~

Someone sent this to me…such sweet, sweet sweetness…Miss Zee Avi

Happy Monday, Lovelies…thanks for touring the abode with me!

OOOHHHH so love seeing the Blair Abode! So cozy in such a short time – brings back memories of how quickly Chez Blair Warwick was set up!!! Looks great great great. Love the table, WINDMILL, STOOLS and chairs!!! No need to say how much i love the photos as you must know that already! Also the big patchwork B. Can’t help myself when it comes to letters as you know. I’ve been so into old signs lately that my man of the house surprised me w/ an old sign (and sled as they were a pair) that he found when cleaning up the remanants of an old shed at church that got knocked down in a thunderstorm. All I need now is a bigger house!!! And well perhaps a windmill too! xoxo

A few weeks back I saw a post you had about wanting a windmill… happy to see you found one! It looks so cool in your dining room.

The free one my husband found is a tad more rustic than yours, not sure it would look good in my dining room!
