I get asked all the time what my sources of photography inspiration or education are. I do a lot of editing in the studio by myself, so I like having podcasts and videos on as I work, picking up what I can. I also have some key photogs who are fun to follow—they’re doing fantastic things and it’s extremely inspiring.
Here are a few of my faves:
Tamara Lackey, queen of portrait photography, has created a supercool site called ReDefine with interviews with the who’s who. She’s got a very nice interviewer style and asks the questions I would ask.

Frederick Van Johnson has the best laugh that is sprinkled all over this podcast. His crew covers all the latest in the world of photography on This Week in Photography . Lots of techny-stuff, but at times they have some really interesting interviews with hotshots in the industry.

Andy Bondurant has a fabulous website called The Collective with lots of goodies about improving the business side of photography. It’s good for a boost when you need a marketing kick in the tush.

Chase Jarvis, one of my all-time favorite photog celebs is the real deal. His wisdom on his blog has caused me to think and ponder my way of doing things. He created Creative Live, a “world-wide creative classroom” for photographers. The incredible tutorials are free when you watch them live (using some of the BEST in the industry), but you can purchase them if you missed the live version.

Eric Doggett, master of the digital composite, has created Photog TV with photographer interviews. Love Eric’s easy-going style and humor.

Sue Bryce rocks it in every way. A New Zealander now living in Australia, she has created the ultimate “glamour portrait” empire.
this post really spoke to me.

Dean Bradshaw , digital composite artist, blows my mind and is my new fave.
Check out this incredible movie to see magic he creates.

If I had to pick someone who epitomizes the giving spirit in this industry, it would be Zack Arias.
With his blog, he makes me laugh and think at the same time. His personal projects inspire me to do my own that have meaning. I love his style, work ethic and ability to communicate the important.

Have a wonderful rest of your week, lovelies!
