One of our retreat students (who also happens to be a fabulous person and friend), Serena Berry, took a series of images at the “Ignite” retreat of yours truly. Strange thing, because I am usually not in front of the camera, but it was kind of fun seeing what she came up with. I especially love the sand pics..I can almost feel it in my hands looking at these.
Still marveling at how much fun Elida was to partner with on this class.

It’s so fun to see people grow in their photography skills right in front of your eyes. It’s really true that a few simple changes in technique can change your whole image-making ballgame. I love witnessing that first hand! I think Serena has a great eye and I cherish these images from our magical weekend. Thank you, sweet Serena!

Monday and Tuesday of this week I will be hosting the photography part of the “Ignite” retreat experience at my studio. I’m so excited to see my new Ignite pals and I’m bursting at the seams to share all the information. It never gets old….I get so energized by seeing other people get excited about photography…and what it means to know the technical and artistic side in depth.
