Princess Grace was the perfect model with a mega-watt smile.
She charmed her way through all of this glorious city and I had more fun than a person should working on these images.
It’s a story in pictures, I think…
I will never stay in a hotel in Paris again. The Paris Apartment is the way to go. We went down to the boulangerie each morning for bread…opened the windows wide to hear the goings on in the street below…and lounged on Louis iiix furniture eating chocolates.
G was my vintage muse in the most unbelievable of locations.
Tour d’Eiffel and a beautiful evening…our last night in Paris…not ready to go.
We happened on an open Place de la Concorde, which I’ve never seen before.
A straight shot right down into what was a Carnivale parade about to begin….we snuck in as “members of the press” and had a blast.
Ice cream is an international language, as G will truly attest.
Les Puces (flea market)…and me so sad not to be able to take anything home…except beautiful pictures, anyway.
My favorite image of the whole week…a jeune fille on the brink of it all…the eyes speak to me in this one…love this girl.
Jardin de Luxembourg, where I plan on having my ashes sprinkled some day (listening, PH?) was the perfect way to end the day…with every man (old and young) pledging their love to Miss G and even policemen captured by her spell.
Carousel at the Tour Eiffel…brides and grooms riding it too!
We walked the Seine for hours in the amazing 75 degree weather…is it crazy to be in a perpetual state of awe when walking in Paris?
An incredible trip that I will never forget…G’s mom is one of my closest friends and to share this experience with her was pure magic. Love you, Shari!
Lots more images to share…I’ll try not to lump all of Paris on you in one fell swoop.
‘Hoping your summer is uber-lovely!!!
