MPG Fab Finds for summer

Summer duds…always an interesting thing putting all of the sweaters and rain friendly footwear away and

busting

out

the

summer frocks.

(and shoes! love me some wedges for height)

Just got these neutral colored ones to go with everything…they’re extremely comfortable.

Love crochet tops with a white tank underneath…thought this one was pretty.

My new discovery for feeling less neurotic about the ‘ole tummy area is rolled-over-top skirts. I like the jersey fabric and how lightweight it is for summer. I got black and gray there recently—super cheap at Tar-Jay.

My secret weapon for all-season shopping is the children’s dept. at Tar-jay. An XL is close to a woman’s medium. The prices rock and the styles are fun. I like this scarf (and it’s $8!).

I’m also loving the tunic thing…very Island Girl, which some of you know is what I want to be when I grow up.

This woman looks like she left the house without pants…I’m not 20 anymore and would probably rock some jeans or shorts with this.

Speaking of island princesess..I think if I could pick one thing to wear all summer it would be a maxi dress.

Flowy,

flattering

& fabulous.

Love this particular one for many reasons, but the fact that it’s an Etsy homemade item is my favorite.

Happy summer to you all.

Have a lovely week, lovelies!

Love some tunics and I could live in a maxi dress winter and summer! Like the new look on the blog…the slideshow is really great but it shows up way off to the side on my screen? It definitely gives you a bit more of the “Modern” part of your Prairie style!
