Instead of lovingly putting together my Friday post for you, I was busy at the doctor this morning finding out that I’ve been ignoring strep throat all week.
Finally couldn’t stand the fact that it felt like I was swallowing glass every time I took drink of water. Sometimes we get so busy doing all of stuff that our health takes a back seat.
I would like to publicly acknowledge that this is not a good idea.
I regret it and now I would like my health back now, thank you.
Last night I had my horse image exhibit for First Thursday in Portland and sold four pieces! Three of which were purchased by dear friends who came out to support me. My desire to make art lives on because of friends like you—-so thank you.
This was taken of Heidi and me in front “Cowboy Church” with a veeerrry funny lady who was pointing the iPhone in the wrong direction. We couldn’t stop laughing.
In case you missed it, I launched a new addition to the blog family in my cyber-house…you can find it here.
This piece came in like a flash with that blog in mind. I shot it, did the digital composite/texture work and uploaded in three hours. That never happens and it made me feel like I’m on the right path. In the future I won’t double post in both blogs, but I wanted to share this with you today because it held significance for me this week.
It’s called Free Indeed.
There are some very large, very inspiring things happening for the “Ignite the Heart” retreat series. Elida and I have been busy bees putting it all together…something we’ve never done before is taking shape. We’re very excited to share it, so you’ll be hearing about it soon.
Happy weekend—and for heaven’s sake, STAY WELL!!
